1st IAF PhD Conference at Dunboyne Castle Hotel, Co. Meath 15th May 2024
The main objective of the conference was to provide PhD students in finance, about to go on the job market, with an opportunity to present their research to their peers and leading researchers in the field in order to obtain feedback and practice the presentation of their key research ideas. An added bonus is that those who presented were also invited to attend as a delegate (free of charge, including hotel accommodation) the main IAF Annual Conference which was held the next two days at the same location (see, https://iafireland.ie/5th-iaf-conference/ ). The presenting PhD students networked with senior academics and researchers from Ireland and abroad
