Two-day Conference
The 6th Annual IAF Conference takes place 22-23 May 2025 at River Lee Hotel, Cork City, Ireland
The Irish Academy of Finance would like to invite all academics and practitioners to participate in the Irish Academy of Finance (IAF) conference, 22-23 May 2025. The IAF is an internationally focused professional association for research and education on the discipline of Finance. It promotes the advancement of research, knowledge and education in the field of Finance with a particular focus on engaging academic and professional communities. It aims to enhance collaborations between researchers in Finance from many universities and other institutions in Ireland and abroad.
Papers in all areas of Finance, Money, Banking, Economic history, Monetary and Macro-Finance, Fintech, AI and Machine Learning, Sustainable Finance, and ESG are welcome. Authors of accepted papers will be required to discuss a paper in the same session.
The 2nd IAF PhD Conference will be held on the 21st May 2025. The main objective of the conference is to provide PhD students in finance in their 3rd or 4th year of study, about to go on the job market, with an opportunity to present their research to their peers and leading researchers in the field in order to obtain feedback and practice the presentation of their key research ideas. Main Conference : Monday 24th February 2025
Papers in all areas of Finance, Money, Banking, Economic history, Monetary and Macro-Finance, Fintech, AI and Machine Learning, Sustainable Finance, and ESG are welcome. Authors of accepted papers will be required to discuss a paper in the same session.

The Conference Fee is €350 for Members (faculty members of QUB, UCD, UCC, DCU, UL, MU and SETU) or €450 for non-Members. The Conference Fee should be paid by way of Bank Transfer (details are given in the Registration Form). For presenters, please quote your registration/OpenConf Id number and name with the bank transfer. For all other delegates please quote your name with the bank transfer. Receipts will be available on submission of Registration form and payment of Conference Fee.
